Dr. Elaina Hutchinson

DVM
Dr. Hutchinson is from Greenville, Kentucky. She went to Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agriculture, with a minor in pre-veterinary medicine. She attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama and graduated in 2005. She has been working here at Marion Animal Hospital since graduation. She is very compassionate about her job and helping pets. Her special interests include ultrasound, internal medicine, and surgery. Dr. Hutchinson likes to read, cook, and spend time with her pets, friends, and family in her spare time.

Nancy Marion Animal

Practice Manager
Nancy is Marion Animal Hospital’s Practice Manager who has been in the Veterinary field for 20+ years! She enjoys educating her clients on how to help their pets receive the best care in all situations from emergencies to annual exams. In her spare time, Nancy loves to spend time with her 4 dogs (Batman, Willie, Roise & Liberty Belle) and 4 cats (Minnie, Cali, Sassy & Puttifoot), riding motorcycles with her boyfriend, Michael, shopping, getting her nails done, and grilling on the porch with friends & pets.

Hannah M
Hannah M

Receptionist
Hannah joined the team in April 2022 and graduated from Aynor High School. She enjoys making clients and patients happy, whether it be before or after their appointment. She enjoys seeing patients come in when they are recovering from their previous visit and being able to lend a helping hand to those in need.

During her free time, she spends her time with her fur babies or crafting. She has two Australian Shephards named Addie and Paisley who she loves spending time. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Bobbie

Veterinary Assistant
Bobbie is one of our veterinary assistants. She takes pride in handling emergencies and difficult pet visits, making connections with long-term patients, running blood work, and performing catheter placements.

In her spare time, Bobbie can be found with her family, including her son at the lake or beach, touring, shopping, or running with her Bull Terrier, Captain

Erin C.
Veterinary Assistant
Erin is a veterinary assistant at Marion Animal Hospital who has been in the veterinary medicine industry for 20 years and previously attended the Pima Medical Institute. She takes pride in her ability to care for her patients. Erin can be found horseback riding, painting, spending time in nature, or hanging out with her family in her spare time.
Shana

Veterinary Assistant
Shana has been grooming for 15 years, with the last 4 months being at Marion. She is now working on in the clinic and takes pride in providing great veterinary care to her patients. She is very compassionate about all animals – big and small.

Outside of work, Shana enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, hanging out with her children riding horses, and taking the occasional nap at lunch.

Deanna

Veterinary Assistant
Deanna (Dee) has been in the veterinary industry for over a year and attended A/B Tech. She is kind and understanding when it comes to pet care and showing affection to her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming in the river with her dogs, and fishing.

Veterinary Assistant
Autum has been in the veterinary industry for 14 years. She takes pride in having patience, compassion, and love for all animals.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Stacey, daughter, Katelynn, two dogs, and four cats. She also enjoys going to the beach.

Boarding Kennel Assistant
Bek is brand new to the veterinary field and graduated from West Florence High School. He prides himself in his ability to get to know each and every animal he works with.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and watching shows and movies with his girlfriend.

Pet Stylist/ Boarding Kennel Assistant
Allyson has been grooming for two years and graduated from Wilson High School. She makes sure all her pet clients are fresh and feel their best once they leave.

In her free time, she enjoys gaming, binge-watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, browsing Reddit, and attending concerts.

Pet Stylist
Hannah has been grooming for four years. She takes pride in making an animal feel their best. She also enjoys doing extra touches that make pet parents smile such as adding bandanas or bows. Hannah is very family oriented and she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twin girls. In her free time, she enjoys painting and working on her family’s farm.

Closure Announcement

First and foremost, we thank you for your loyalty and patronage to Marion Animal Hospital. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve the pets of the Marion community. As of September 7, 2022, we will be closing our doors, including our grooming and boarding services.

To receive your pet's health records, please email marionanimalhospitalSC@gmail.com. We ask for health record requests, to please add RECORDS REQUEST in the Subject Line. You can request your pets' health records until December 30, 2022.
